The Land Rover Discovery 4 is a remarkable vehicle - even among its brethren it is "the" Land Rover. At the time of it's launch it was considered by some to be more capable than a Defender and equally as comfortable as a Range Rover. The Discovery 4 is the benchmark against which other 4x4's are judged. First introduced in 2009, succeeding the Discovery 3, and further updated for 2011 with the introduction of a number of "off road" enhancements to maintain Land Rover 4x4 supremacy and with improved performance from the V6 twin turbo diesel engine.
This statement just about sums it all up: "The Discovery 4 remains one of the most capable and versatile vehicles on and off road. It is an ideal tow vehicle, can tackle the most challenging off-road conditions and delivers superb on-road refinement to rival the best executive saloons. As the ultimate all-purpose vehicle, the Discovery 4 is in a class of it's own" Phil Popham, MD Land Rover, Land Rover News, 20 Sept 2010.
Our 2012 Nara Bronze HSE with full black leather is in excellent condition. Acquired in 2016 from a "dry" South Africa and imported to the UK in early 2019. The HSE model wants for nothing and comes with a very high specification including the full 7 seat arrangement, 3 sunroofs and premium Harmon Kardon audio. The SDV6 Auto is surprisingly sprightly and economical for a hefty 2.5 tonne vehicle with the ability to cruise quietly all day at 70 mph and exceed 35 mpg. The vehicle wears Goodyear Wrangler M&S tyres on 19 inch alloy wheels and is equipped with a LR fitted tow bar. A supremely capable all-rounder, as demonstrated and confirmed by Jeremy Clarkson's (in)famous Cnoc an Fhreiceadain, 2004 mountain climb in Scotland in the forerunner Discovery 3.
Whether you want to climb hills (and mountains) in the New Forest, the South Coast or mainland Great Britain there is no better vehicle than from the lofty heights of our Discovery 4.
